Ingredients:

  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 200g of cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent.
  • Stir in minced garlic and continue to sauté for another couple of minutes until fragrant.
  • In a blender, combine cream cheese, sautéed onion and garlic mixture, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting seasoning as necessary.
  • Transfer the creamy mixture into an oven-safe dish.
  • Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes until heated through and slightly golden on top.
  • Meanwhile, using the air fryer, cook any additional vegetables (like bell peppers or zucchini) on 200°C (400°F) for 10-15 minutes until they are tender and slightly crispy.
  • Serve the creamy garlic onion bake hot, optionally topped with the air-fried vegetables.
