Sweet and Savory Bacon Fried Rice

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cooked rice
- 100g of bacon, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of cream
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 4 slices of bread, cubed

Instructions:
- In a large pan over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
- In the same pan, add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
- Push the onions and garlic to one side of the pan, crack in the eggs and scramble until cooked.
- Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, and maple syrup, mixing everything well.
- Add the crispy bacon back into the pan, and season with brown sugar, stirring until combined.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and breadcrumbs. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream and mayonnaise until smooth. Gradually stir in the sour cream.
- On a baking sheet, spread the cubed bread and drizzle with the cream mixture. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve the bacon fried rice topped with the baked bread cubes.
